“Modern Love” (Empires Cover) - Nicholas Scimeca, Daniel Castady, and De’Mar Hamilton
A couple months ago Nick asked me if I’d want to cover an Empires song for a compilation CD a few kids were putting together for the 1 year anniversary of the Empires record Howl. Of course I said yes. This came out a lot better than I imagined. I recorded the guitar parts on the bus or in dressing rooms, and our friend Dan from a band called the Fold sang. Nick did everything else. The day he sent me the final product I was amazed. It feels good to have done something musical with my best friend. Honestly there will be more of that. We have a lot of fun together. I am also honored to have been apart of this project. It was cool to see the look on the guys from Empires faces when we gave them this. Anyways check it out. Nick suggests you wear headphones when you listen and I would agree.
